Fall Term 2024 at UNM

The Last Day of School

My thoughts became clearer as I raced to complete my homework. It was exciting and strange to think about the vast expanse of free time that lay ahead before the spring term, when the demands of structured academic time would no longer be there. My life as a digital nomad, which I had meticulously crafted over the years, had transformed from an idea into a reality. I felt empowered by the freedom it provided, although tethered to a sense of responsibility.

In the library, repetitive keyboard clicks filled the room, a symphony of productivity, as my classmates and I undertook the work of our final group project like a synchronized watch. Each touch of the key carried the weight of our collective effort—a substantial testament to the collaboration and dedication that had shaped our journey through the term. Amidst this energetic concentration, an understanding hung in the air amongst us; the hourglass was running ever so low—soon, the classroom would fall quiet, and we would gather our materials to embark on our separate endeavors until the cycle resurfaced.

Each time I glanced over the classroom, I felt overwhelmingly grateful for this camaraderie and connection of being a magnificent part of a fantastic experience. With the end of the course approaching, I often wondered what to do with all this drive in the weeks ahead, and I was ready to walk the line between active work and relaxation.

I had been eager to play around on Quora and answer as many questions as possible; I had become addicted to all the free traffic it had been sending to my store. It was overwhelming but absolutely a joy to see. I couldn't believe how many questions people were asking and how easy it was to find ones I knew I could answer in my niche.

All of this got me thinking about more social media optimization and how Pinterest has brought the most traffic to my website. I created this website to make high-quality digital products that I could sell. How has it worked out for me?

I've constructed my webpage, created some items in the store that people could resonate with, and am learning more about running Google ads on my site. These are all new developments that I will work on over the break.

Everything feels like it's moving so fast. All these thoughts started going through my mind. The idea that I could create my own digital empire and build my dream life seems quite intriguing, and it is a goal within my reach.
